The political thinking of Gus Hall (Dissertation).
In my doctoral dissertation I am studying the political thinking of Gus Hall, the long-time general secretary of the American Communist Party. Hall - originally Arvo Halberg - was born to a Finnish immigrant family in Minnesota in 1910. He acted as the general secretary of CPUSA during 1959-2000. In addition to Hall's political thinking, I am studying his relation to Finnish-American communism
