Database search for registered users

Registered users have access to all the information in the emigrant register online databases. The registration fee is 20 € per year (ca. US$25). Payment can be made through our Web Store.

  1. Pay the fee - Go to Webstore
    After the payment, the customer must register as a user by filling out the registration form (link below).
     
  2. Create an account - Fill out the registration form
    By this you create a username and password for yourself.
     
  3. Confirm your registration by email
    When the registration information has been sent, you are notified by email and you must confirm the registration by clicking on the link in the email.
     
  4. Login the search page
    After this the database is accessible by your user id and password given in the registration information. The password can be changed afterwards. If the email-confirmation fails, please contact Webmaster.

What do I get for the user fee?

Registered users have access to all the information in the emigrant register online databases.

The payment also includes guidance and counseling for self-searching the databases of the Institute. Instead, the payment DOES NOT include the actual database search conducted by the genealogist or other personnel of the Institute. Such a search costs 30-60 euros depending on the time spent and the amount of information found. Of this work a separate invoice will be sent to the customer.
